RELATIONSHIPS MATTER
“RebuildING life after incarceration.”
— Matthew
4 Key thrusts
Hurt doesn't end where it lands. It gets passed on — through families, through communities, through generations. Lutheran Community Care Services exists to interrupt that transfer: restorative practices that bring people who've caused harm and people who've carried it into the same room, and turn conflict into repair.'

communities
(CONNECT)
2
Cycles of hurt survive in isolation — behind closed doors, in silence, between people who've stopped talking. LCCS's answer is connection: building relationships across neighbourhoods, schools and families so that conflict gets resolved face to face instead of festering out of sight.
equip empowered individuals
(EMPOWER)
3
Restorative practice isn't something done to people; it's a skillset placed in them. Lutheran Community Care Services trains individuals — young people, families, educators, community members — to face conflict directly, take responsibility for harm, and lead their own repair. The goal is never a caseload. It's people who no longer need one.

movement
(ENGAGE)
4
One repaired relationship is a result. A society that chooses repair over punishment is a movement.
